I'm going to write a little about my beautiful wife first...seeing as she is defintely the better looking of the two of us. How a guy like me ended up with a girl like her ranks up there with God's parting the red sea.

Well...Malu was born Maria de Jesus Valdez Ramirez and as far as I know from the moment she entered this world her life was a miracle. God's miracle began on the 29th of May in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Taking a little bit of jump, Malu has spent about the last 7-10 years in ministry. She completed a program at the Prince of Peace bible school in Reynosa in 2001 while working as a youth pastor. After that she moved to the U.S. and worked in Kentucky and in San Antonio helping in the church in Praise and Worship, and Youth Pastor in San Antonio. It was during her time in the U.S. that Malu again felt God's hand upon her life calling her back to Mexico and in October 2004 she returned to teach at the Prince of Peace school in Reynosa, under the directorship of Hermano y Hermana Kincaid (an amazing testimony in their own right). After two years at the school, Malu felt the call to move on and during the spring of '06 met one handsome Canadian...yes, that's me! She spent the summer working for A.I.M. as a translator in Matamoros. The end of the summer brought a holiday for her to Canada and then in november a wedding in Monterrey. Currently, Malu resides with her husband...again, yes that's me...in San Cristobal de Las Casas, Mx. We're here to investigate the possibility of opening a discipleship ministry and our currently involved with a church and helping them begin a rehabilitaion ministry for the drug and alcohol problem so prevalent here.
